HE Will Do It All For His Glory

 I've been praying that prayer...

You know the one,

"Give me faith,
To trust what you say"

And it's made me crazy curious.

I've had a desire to know...

To know more and more of what it is that He actually does say.

So I've been reading that Love Letter that He wrote me every chance I get.

And there's so much. There are so many ways that He loves, that He forgives, that He extends grace, and still insists upon justice. He passes out kindness around every corner.
He promises hope in suffering and comfort in despair.
In temptation He says He'll provide a way out.
He calls us salt and light and  He tells us that  He'll use us for His glory.

And then a friend, she texts it to me today as we roam switch back up the mountain.

It's tradition around here.

Fall comes and we wind up the mountain to find the leaves in all their glory.

This friend, she sends words that light up my heart and  bring me back to that prayer, me asking for faith to trust what He says.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled..."

Then she reminded me,

"He promises those who hunger and thirst, He promises that He will fill them. How cool is that?"

And man, do I hunger and thirst!

I want Him so badly.

I want Him to fill me with Himself.

And then I read the best part again this morning before sunrise,
"God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful." (1 Thes. 5:24)

GOD_WILL_MAKE_IT_HAPPEN.

He is doing in me now,  under this farmhouse roof, with these children and this Cowboy, exactly what He needs to be doing with me for His glory.

And as we drove switch back up the mountain into His beautiful golden glory, a weight was lifted once again, reminding me  that it is Him, and not me, who works all things together for my good, and His glory.
