Happy Thanksgiving!!!

#13 There's six-plus coats, six-plus hats, a couple dozen gloves, a couple dozen boots that take over our make shift mud room each morning, afternoon, and evening...

And I'm grateful... for the warmth, for the provision, for the abundance...

#14 It's Thanksgiving Day and a friend's flowers decorate my farm house table...

And I'm grateful... for the beauty, for the brightness, for the joy that they bring...

#15 There's a yellow pitcher of ice cold water that blends in with my friendship flowers...

And I'm grateful... for the simplicity...

#16 There's four small children that run and play, bicker and make it right, ask forgiveness and give forgiveness generously... And I'm grateful... for the constant learning, for the joy they have, for the way that they transform me minute by minute into a women who seeks her Savior out of need and want...

#17 A farm table holding up a feast... And I'm grateful... that the Lord always seems to bring a feast even in the desert...

#18 A little girl... Who LOVES herself some apple cider... And I'm grateful... She's just so cute...

#19 Friends, ... And I'm grateful... for fellowship, for community, for living life together...

#20 A game of Thanksgiving... And I'm grateful... for laughter, for tears of joy, for encouragement, for little Reesie saying she's most Thankful for Jesus... she might not understand what she's saying, but she hears His name in our home, and she repeats, and it encourages my heart that at very least she hears about Him in our home... Man oh man am I grateful!

#21 My happy, happy baby... And I'm grateful... for that smile...

#22 My boys... My man... And I'm grateful... For the way that he cherishes our children, for the way that he cherishes me, for the blessing God's given me to walk through this life together with him...

#23 Laughter... And I'm grateful... that there's joy in the midst of the pain...

#24 Serving... And I'm grateful... That my son loves to help his sister, on his own accord...

#25 A brisk walk... And I'm grateful... for the long dirt path, for the wide open space...

#26 An adventure in the barn... And I'm thankful... for the bravery in my small children...

#27 For photos of the ones I love.... And I'm grateful... for their precious faces...

#28 For the walk back to the farm house... and I'm grateful... for the exhilaration of going from bone-chilling breeze to the warmth of our home...

#29 Some football and an afternoon nap... And I'm grateful... for rest...

#30 And at the end of the day, an attempt to capture four little treasures in a moment that I want to remember for always... And I'm grateful... even though I might not be successful...
