The GOOD news is...
I can semi-fit into my old jeans... that is... I can "technically" button them... which in my book, is a great feat in my little world.
The BAD news is...
I'm sooooooo tired... I think that I might need to scotch tape my eyes open to make it through another day.
The UGLY news is...
Yesterday my tiredness got the best of me and my sweet, yet brutally honest Siah confronted me after I (just might have) spoken in a very unkind tone towards him for like the millionth time that day.
He said to me, "Mom, do you even have Jesus in your heart, cuz you sure do shout a lot?"
Man o man... a dagger right to my heart!
I was so bummed at the realization that my most dreaded sin (anger) had gotten the best of me.
I looked at Siah in the face and replied, "Yes Siah, I still have Jesus in my heart. But unfortunately I also have a lot of sin in there too. I'm sorry that I spoke to you that way. Will you forgive me?"
To which he responded, "Sure Mom. But seriously... Jesus doesn't talk to people with shouting. You really need to pray and ask God for help."
"You're right Siah. I do."
And there you have it... the GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY going on around here...
