A Couple Firsts

This weekend was big for both Siah and Hal. Siah had his first Christmas performance in front of the church and Hal had her first dance recital. I just loved every second of it! I love this age. I love their innocence. I love their joy. I love how they're so proud of themselves that it shows up all over their face!!! We didn't get the best of videos but we did the best we could. :)

Gramma and Grandpa Jim were here for the weekend. It was such a blessing for Hal to have them there...

She got a special treat from her teacher at the end of the program. She had to do a curtsy in order to get her treat.


Gramps came too and brought Hal some beautiful flowers....

At dinner that night we asked the kids what their favorite part of their day was...
Hal said, "Getting flowers from Gramps after I danced."
Siah said, "Watching my sister dance so beautiful."... How sweet is that!!!!!

It was a really wonderful weekend and I am so proud of both of my treasures.
