She does her own hair.
She picks out her own clothes.
She has no hesitation saying, "Mom, isn't this the most awesome outfit you've ever seen?"
She wears layers upon layers of tulle to the dinner table each night.
The bigger, the brighter, the better, that's her motto on life.
And she gets all the other treasures to jump into her fun.
This Spunky Girl of mine, man, she's a gem.
"Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)
This girl's heart is one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.
I wish every one on the planet had the same privilege that I have to live under the same roof with these joyful, bright, colorful, extravagant, laughing, cheering kids.
It makes me want to cook dinner in a wig of red curls and a beautiful purple and blue hoop skirt... just for the sake of joy! :)
