Surprise! Yeee-haw!! :)

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the rodeo?

And this past weekend, our incredibly kind and generous friends blessed our entire family with tickets and I seriously almost cried because, like I said, I LOVE the rodeo!!!

I don't really know what it is.

There is something about the way that the whole environment of a rodeo makes me feel.

Maybe it has something to do with the way the Dancing Girl, literally jumps out of her seat in shear joy when the girls in the glow in the dark costumes ride so fast around the rink?

Maybe it's the giant turkey legs and the funnel cake and the sweetest, most delicious lemonade that I have ever tasted?

Maybe it's the pride for this country that fills the stadium, or the rodeo's clear love for family and God that draws me in?

Maybe it's the brave little kids that hold on to those sheep for dear life as they run across the stadium? That's definitely my favorite part! :)

It's a sweet place for me.

We watched the bull riders and those brave folks who did tricks on their horses.

We ate so much food that the Little Charmer threw up all over himself and sprayed his Mama a bit too. :) But I didn't mind in the slightest. I just wiped him up with a few baby wipes that I had in my backpack and we all went right back to watching the rodeo. What's a little throw up when you've got a stadium full of country folk ( and a handful of wanna-be-country-folk) cheering at the top of their lungs for the crazy guy trying with all his might to stay on the bull?

It doesn't get much better than this.

I loved it!
