It's A Love Party

Sure we're in a new state, at a new house... We have new relationships, new friends. But what is Valentine's Day without a Clark family Love Party???

So even though I would have been just fine cutting out paper hearts and eating messily frosted cupcakes on the floor just me and my treasures this Valentines Day... my little ones chatted me into our 5th annual "We LOVE love" party... and from the bottom of my heart, I am so glad they did.
I mean, how can you say no to this sweet face? :)

Today was just a sweet reminder of how much the Lord has blessed me out here with amazing godly friendships with woman that I truly just can't seem to get enough of. As we live out this messy life of training up toddlers & loving on pudgy little baby cheeks, I feel loved on, I feel I encouraged, I feel drawn to my Savior, and I feel blessed! Fifty friends... moms and their many small children... Fifty more reasons to count the gifts that He's constantly giving this little girl of His. :)

#180-195
picnic blankets covered with kids all over our living room floor.
joy in a cupcake,
friends, friends, everywhere,
daughters in princess attire... always in princess attire,

the crafty types...
little boys who can't make crafts because "pink" is a girl color... and they couldn't possibly wear a girl color...
Little boys who could care less about pink...

A flood of cute treasures filling up our home on a Monday morning in February...

Treats, treats, and more treats...

A love for books... a passion for the learning of life...

Two adventurous boys helping the mini van moms out of our loooooong driveway with their servant hearts...

An attempted group picture of the last few friends before all went home...

a forever friend who ALWAYS stays and helps me clean up the chaos...
a home, a safe haven that houses six folks who are Extravagantly in love with each other with a hope that we're so full of love that it just splashes onto each heart that walks through our front door.

"His love was NOT CAUTIOUS but EXTRAVAGANT!!! He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give EVERYTHING of himself to us... love like that!" Ephesians 5

Happy Valentines Day to y'all! And thank you to my precious friends who are constantly showering God's Extravagant love all over me and my little family. :)

PS...
A few more gifts on Valentines Day...
#196-201
This just might be the best Valentines ever with my Joey.
Not void of expectations, but this year our expectations were completely in sync...
Go, no where...
For dinner... chicken chile burritos (he even cooked em in the oven instead of the microwave... A special occasion for sure. :)
This years Valentines gift from my man... a unopened bag of Oreos just for me. :) He knows what I love like no one else. :)
Him, me, on the couch... "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," on TV, surrounded by our many small treasures... They've seen it so many times... they have their favorite scenes and they laugh... Not sure if its a good thing that my four year old likes the part where Toula sings, "I'm a Wo-Man,
W-O-M-A-N! Hal thinks it's hilarious and she laughs... We laugh...
We put them to bed... we Oreos together on the couch.

Seriously, the best Valentines Day to date. I'm so in love. :)
